Van zaterdag 11 tot zondag 19 mei komen onze Gambiaanse vrienden van onze zusterschool Crab Island op bezoek. Dit jaar voor het eerst bestaat de delegatie ook uit twee vertegenwoordigers van de "Methodist School for Disabled Children", zeg maar de Zeeparel uit Gambia.
De volledige delegatie bestaat uit Mr Manding Ceesay (directeur) en Oumou Kairu Jallow (leerling) van Crab Island en Mrs Lucy Sarfo (directrice) en Henrietta Senghore (leerlingenbegeleidster) van de Methodist School for Disabled Children.
Het is de bedoeling dat zij één week intensief onze pedagogische structuur leren kennen, deelnemen aan schoolactiviteiten en daarnaast heel wat cultuurhistorische bezoeken aan onder andere Brugge en Brussel meemaken.
From Saturday, the 11 of May until Sunday, the 19th of May our Gambian friends from our sisterschool Crab Island will be visiting. For the first time this year, the delegation will also contain two representatives from the "Methodist School for Disabled Children.", the Gambian equivalent of De Zeeparel.
The complete delegation consists of Mr Manding Ceesay (principal) and Oumou Kairu Jallow (student) from Crab Island and Mrs Lucy Sarfo (principal) and Henrietta Senghore (student guide) from the Methodist School for Disabled Children.
The goal of this visit is a one-week intensive introduction to our pedagogic structure, particpating in school-activities as well as paying a cultural visit to our historic cities, such as Brussels and Bruges.
